See the Hands of God?

See the hands of God?

Look at the fading sunrise.

Gaze at the dark forest covered horizon.

Marvel at the purple of a new morning.

 See the hands of God?

Stand.

Breathe deeply the clean scent of pine.

Feel refreshment to your core.

Allow creation’s mystery to fill your soul.

See the hands of God?

Why is water blue?

Touch its soft liquid wonder.

Taste its life-giving sweetness.

Watch sunlight diamonds sparkle the surface.

Wonder.

See the hands of God?

Rub your fingers on White Pine Bark.

Gaze upward to its towering top.

Consider the strength of pine.

Listen, a symphony plays in the needles.

See the hands of God?

Vastness, grandeur beyond vision.

Earth, water, sky combined- one earth.

Light, life and seasons always ordered.

Sense smallness, His greatness.

See the hands of God?

Sunrise warmth, burns away mist.

A new day, you have no part. (in making)

Ninety three million mile heat, a solar engine.

See the hands of God?

Purple, God’s royal hue.

Living on rock, soil inches deep.

Purple, green, gray, all color shades in between.

Treasure color.

See the hands of God?

His hand stores rainwater water in rock.

Makes reflection of earth and sky.

Creates unexpected glory.

This an every-day event.

See the hands of God?

Listen.

Silence is God’s work.

Peace which passes understanding,

His gift.

Let silence fill you bring forward its strength.

Listen.

See the hands of God!

Step outside.

God’s presence everywhere.

Be still…know He is God.

This earth is His witness.

See? The hands of God!

Psalm 19:1:  “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
