These Are the Small Things
“This is what the Lord says,
he who appoints the sun
to shine by day,
who decrees the moon and stars,
to shine by night,
who stirs up the sea,
so that its waves roar—
the Lord Almighty is his name…” Jeremiah 31:35
These are big things:
sunshine,
moon and star shine,
roaring ocean waves.
Who arranges big things?
God.
Here are small things:
flowers, frogs,
butterflies, spiders,
bird eggs, birds, white tailed deer,
beetles, and grass.
Who arranges small things?
God.
God appoints.
God decrees.
God stirs up.
ALMIGHTY is his name.
