"Let Us"

This is part 2-To Persevere

23 “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:23-25

“Let us,” the same as “might we.”

It’s a call to consider.

Let us…a call to the believers in Jesus Christ to persevere.

Persevere…

the opposite of give up, the opposite of stop.

Brother-sister, do you hear the call?

Do not give up-rather “let us.”

 

LET US draw near to God.

LET US hold solidly to eternal hope-IN JESUS.

LET US consider how we may urge each other to love our neighbors with good deeds.

LET US not give up meeting together to encourage one another in Christ Jesus.

We are NOT good at “let us.”

To persevere.

…ask Jesus.
