Thank You Mr. President

Neither of you can hear.

Your remains are cold dust.

Your actions warm our hearts.

Thank you, Mr. President…

for Valley Forge and Gettysburg.

Thank you, Mr. President…

First president, two terms.

You served infant America…

presided over the constitutional convention,

when your preference was home, family.

Not a king, you set the model for presidents to come…

humble, but determined to grow one nation under God.

Thank you, Mr. President…

you were 16th.

Principled, honest, sincere…

devoted to America, freedom for all,

one nation under God.

Emancipator in Chief.

Two men, two Americans, two leaders…

Thank You Mr. President.
