ALL
We return to that word once again.
All.
Just 3 letters, such a small word.
Just three letters, such an immense word.
All.
To understand the significance of ALL-an example.
A bird is good.
Not any bird,
the beautiful, crest of feathers, red waxy wingtips Cedar Waxwing.
Cedar Waxwing specifics:
they are gregarious…living in flocks…
they are frugivorous…a diet of mostly fruit…
insects are included-but only in season…
in warm weather.
During winter, Cedar Waxwing fuel is fruit…
out of season fruit,
dried fruit…still on the tree fruit
old frozen fruit…
yes, Cedar berries, but also Mountain Ash, Juniper, flowering crab apples, even Buck-thorn.
Remember…the tricky part-fruit does not develop in winter.
Fruit bearing trees put on fruit in warm weather.
Much fruit falls off the tree when ripe…but
there are many Cedar Waxwings. So…
They survive-all winter on a diet out of season, still hanging on the tree,
shriveled, fruit.
Back to ALL.
How do fruit eating birds survive the bitter cold of winter?
On fruit left from the growing season.
While some has fallen to the ground.
Enough remains to “feed” these wild birds…
all winter.
No irrational or reckless religious statement: God feeds them.
ALL,
ALL winter…till insects and fresh fruit come again.
Apply this truth to you and me.
Let’s employ the ALL factor for the human race.
ALL becomes an immeasurable term when used by God…
for every human on earth.
He loves-ALL
He provides every need for every man, woman, girl and boy,
that’s ALL…
every essential, every necessity, every requirement we need.
God provides…
ALL.
Such a little word.
Such an infinite God!
He has given us His word on ALL…
“God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
