Minnesota Ice Sculpture

Been thinking about this picture today. It was taken the 2nd day of December. There are 1000 lakes in Ottertail County of Minnesota where we live. How many places were there ice formations like these on the south shores of those lakes?  How many places are there like this in Minnesota right now? Then think about all the places in the word where there are ice sculptures. These are small, some are massive. Yet, this picture is a glimpse into the infinite nature of our Father. God is a magnificent Creator…He is always up to something great!

Then I took the camera into the sunlight. Light, 93,000,000 miles and 8.5 minutes away at light speed illuminated every icicle.

Remember the ice sculptures.

They occur with regularity each year on lakes as permanent freeze up for winter comes. Every year, like snowflakes, the sculptures are different. God never ceases to create. These ice sculptures are a graphic display of another facet of who God is: love. His love never fails. It is new every morning. God is a magnificent Creator…He is always up to something great!

Remember the ice sculptures next time exhaustion, fear, dismay, sickness or grief knock at your door.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. Isaiah 40:28

(These are the instructions: If you like these photos below…consider choosing your favorite. Then share this Creator Words blog with a friend-not me. I numbered them for so you could tell your friend. It is highly likely that you know of someone today who needs encouragement. The beauty of God as Creator of all things is encouraging. Then being reminded The Awesome Creator loves each of us is even more encouraging. There is someone you know…would you share this with them?)
