A Trio of Certain Facts

12 People who work hard sleep well, whether they eat little or much. But the rich seldom get a good night’s sleep.

13 There is another serious problem I have seen under the sun. Hoarding riches harms the saver. 14 Money is put into risky investments that turn sour, and everything is lost. In the end, there is nothing left to pass on to one’s children. 15 We all come to the end of our lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day we were born. We can’t take our riches with us. Ecclesiastes 5:12-15 (NLT)

THREE life topics: sleeping well, hoarding riches, end of life.

Easiest first. Fact, good sleep and hard work go together.

Good sleep doesn’t come free. Want it? Work for it.

Need another name for hoarding? These two: greed and gluttony.

There’s quicksand in hoarding. Danger in an appetite for riches.

Can’t see it, our attention is on treasure not bankruptcy.

Third one’s mostly forgotten. Naked to begin- naked the end.

We’re preoccupied with more, hogging riches,  sadly-stockpiled treasure fogs brains.

Accumulating riches is fool’s work. Sovereign God provides extravagant abundance.

World’s greatest truth: Jesus died for all. He‘s THE Treasure..
