The Perfect Judge

16 And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. 17 I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” Ecclesiastes 3:16-17

It’s easy to see. Difficult to live with.

Wickedness stands out, a dark stain on human life.

Evil is in wickedness-selfishness, hate, lies, immorality, even murder.

Wickedness is ignoring God, failure to follow His plan.

The wicked strut, take control, appear to have all power.

Where wickedness thrives justice is rain that never falls.

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.”

Sorrow is found where wickedness thrives.

Will justice ever overcome? Will the prospering wicked ever see justice?

Remember the unseen Power.

God sees ALL wickedness. His every act is justice.

Judgement comes.

He the perfect judge.

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14

But let justice roll on like a river,
    righteousness like a never-failing stream!
