How'd He do That?

7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith. Hebrews 11:7

Stop. See this glorious miracle.

Examine this infinite God act.

Noah found favor in the eyes of almighty, living God.

Why Noah? God was his confidence, his trust. Not self.

By faith Noah built that ark. He believed God’s word.

Noah gathered wood. He breathed sawdust. He sweat. Endured ridicule.

Day upon day. Week upon week. Year after year. Decades.

Noah worked.

Built an ark with no place to float.

Covered with tar black and odoriferous. Noah built. By faith.

Unseen flood ahead, Noah relied on God for skill. Courage.

Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

By faith.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
