The Conclusion of Luke-Only One Solution

There is only one solution.

Jesus is the Son of God.

He died on a Roman cross of crucifixion.

He is the Savior of the world.

We humans have an unseen enemy.

The most dangerous of all enemies.

His goal is our destruction.

Since we cannot see him, we become careless-unconcerned

Our enemy has a powerful helper-our sinful natures.

Because of our sin bent souls Satan can easily defeat us.

The answer to the greatest human problem? There is only one solution:

Jesus.

He came to earth to save you…me…the rest of the world’s sinners.

Is there anyone who came to life after death?

Only Jesus.

Is there anyone who can truly fix our sin problem?

Only Jesus.

Is there a way to defeat the greatest enemy we have?

Only Jesus.

Is there anyone who visibly rose from earth…then disappeared before the eyes of the disciples (eyewitnesses)?

Only Jesus.

“When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.”

Luke 24:50-53

The final verses of the book of Luke bring us to the place when the Creator of the universe-Jesus-is physically taken into heaven.

Jesus vanished before the eyes of the disciples.

This completed the purpose for which Jesus came to earth as a baby in a manger.

Today, just as He did when He walked on earth’s soil, He rules the universe.

Our problem with our sins can be fixed. There is one solution.

Jesus.
