In Psalm 136, give means offer.
Offer in context means present…
Give…to offer and present thanks.
Let’s not assume we know about thanks.
Neither of us have enough gratitude.
We assume, we take for granted, we expect
Worse, we are selfish, full of pride and big egos.
Most days we fail to even acknowledge everything comes from God.
Could you and I be narcissists…
on Thanksgiving?
Too harsh?
Truth generates gratitude.
It’s all God’s…your stuff, mine; your life, mine.
ALL God’s.
And He is good.
And His love endures forever.
