This is about miracles.
This is about miracles. It is not a miracle if done or produced by a human being. True miracles come from God…alone. But don’t take my word for it.
Take it from Google…A miracle is “a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.”
According to this definition a miracle is an astonishment. Nothing like this has ever happened. A miracle is appreciated and delightful. Miracles bring joy to humans.
A miracle cannot be understood when viewed through natural laws. Miracles do not follow what we expect nature to do. Science cannot explain the miracles we are talking about either. Scientists observing a true miracle experience jaw drop as much as you or I might.
What is the best part of a miracle? No human being has a part of it. The definition brings a smile to my face. “Miracles are considered to be the work of a divine agency.”
“Miracles are considered to be the work of a divine agency?”
HUH? What could we expect from Google? At least the word divine is used…
There should be massive fireworks. Enormous billboards as large as mountains should have the source of miracles written across them: ONLY GOD DOES MIRACLES! The earth should tremble, smoke should pour from the tops of the mountains with the signs.
God’ miracles prove He exists. The Bible is filled with the astonishing acts of God. His miracles brought joy to people from the beginning of the Old Testament through the end of the New Testament. Skeptical? The Bible is just an old book? Need some current miracles? Need some you can see and touch? Let’s do 10…after these you’ll get the picture.
1. The Human Body-miracle
2. Sunrise/sunset-miracle
3. Feathers-miracle
4. 1 snow crystal-miracle
5. 1 drop of water-miracle
6. Gravity-miracle
7. Color-miracle
8. Bird song-miracle
9. Bird flight-miracle
10. Bird migration
11. The earth-miracle
12. The solar system…oops! Two extra…
Is God real? Does God truly exist? Miracles prove He does…miracle after miracle after miracle.
Did Jesus really have authority to forgive our sins…look at His miracles: water to wine, raised people from the dead, healed all the sick, blind people got their sight, lame people stood and walked, 5,000 were fed with 5 loaves and 2 fish…and no one, ever before, ever since rose from the dead after being in the grave.
Is Jesus who He says? Read His own words…
“But I have a greater witness than John—my teachings and my miracles. The Father gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that he sent me.” John 5:36
