Quiet Waters...and Peace

This was peaceful.

This was peaceful.

Today, it was necessary to take my mind away from the events occurring in our nation.


My mind needed some peace, my soul, some refreshing.


Found it outside…on water.

At first the wind blew from the southwest. As the sun neared the horizon the wind dropped. Mirror images of the sky on water sooth the soul.

God has been on my mind a lot today.

 

This evening there is peace. Even though things are undecided.

 

When we keep our minds fastened to God…

 

He never leaves us.

 

He gives us peace.

 

He is our good Shepherd.

 

He leads us to quiet waters.

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3
