24 “He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, 25 and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need. Acts 17:24-25
That’s right. God made everything…everything in the world-including this world wonder Grand Canyon. We visited this awesome spectacle of space and silence recently. Someone asked me if I yelled “Hello!” to hear the echo. The question surprised me. It did not seem appropriate. Yelling would be irreverent. The whole canyon shouts God is Creator. More on the Grand Canyon soon.
Creator Words?
Here’s a little project for you. Go outside. Take this question in your mind: What is the origin of all you see, hear, feel, touch, and smell?…(don’t taste…save that for your lunch!) Once outside…Look around. Look at the sky. turn your face into the wind feel the air on your skin. If there is a tree nearby and you can, walk to it. Lean your shoulder into the tree. Close your eyes and listen. What is the origin of all the things your senses are telling you?
The Creator Words answer: God
It has been my practice for most of my life to attend to what happens outside.
My personal answer is God is the Creator of heaven and earth.
Why do I believe this? Why do I reject the answers evolution gives? There are two reasons.
A lifetime of observation of nature tells me what exists in nature was CREATED.
The Bible is clear: God is the maker of heaven and earth.
“He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever.”
Psalm 146:6

Therefore…Welcome to Creator Words!
My goal in every part of this blog site is to tell you the TRUTH.
Where do we find truth? In God’s living word-the Bible.
The second place we find truth is in creation. In creation (call it nature if you wish) the power and love of God are clearly seen…Romans 1:20 has been a foundational verse for me since 2003. It clearly tells us God is the Creator of all things. It states that proof is given for God as Creator by nature…trees, birds, animals, plants, water, sun, moon, stars…anything else in nature you can think of-God made it…ALL of it. Look at nature…see the power and love of God.
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20
It’s more than a walk. Both provide exercise, a hike has promise of more.
