Semi-darkness, south breeze chilling the face.

Nothing moving but wind…no other sounds.

Peace and mystery combined with brilliant before sunrise

color show.

Feeling order, a sense of vast power,

with these there is comfort…a before sunrise guarantee.

A second walk later…facing a 30 mph south wind.

In sunshine and drifting snow.

My trail, snowshoe packed snow…
