Without dye-without age.
Change your hair color twice each year.
Change it from brown to yellow.
Right…no one wants yellow hair.
American Goldfinches do…but its feathers…not hair.
Twice annually male Goldfinches change feather color-
…winter brown to spring yellow.
Wait…think about it…this is a big deal.
Female American Goldfinches are yellow tinged brown year around.
Male goldfinches molt feathers…
in time for spring-you know-mating, nesting, raising young.
The molt coincides with spring.
There is no “molt your feathers memo”
…it happens on schedule.
AND feathers are always yellow…only yellow.
Accidental?
